The EMEX project joined forces with Film University’s S+T+ARTS initiative and the institute of artistic research to create a two weeks artistic XR master class mentored by international artists from multiple disciplines.
Three dozen (!) artists and researchers will open the kick-off symposium, giving plenty of insights into the artistic potential of XR, followed by hands-on introduction workshop into basic skills with and around XR. Then the students will take off into a week-long mentored prototyping workshop to create concepts, sketches and even rough tangible prototypes of their visions in XR. The master class will be concluded with a web exhibition.
For the master class, we are looking for artistically-researching master students and doctoral candidates across all disciplines who wish to test and expand their research approaches and artistic working methods in an exchange of ideas.
